Interactive graph analysis
Select a place and see straight away where its material comes from and where it flows on to.
What does a graph analysis of material flow show?
The graph analysis looks at the material flow as a network of places and connections. It shows sources, sinks, return flows, dead ends, two-way connections and long process chains.
Common questions
What is the difference between material graph and aisle graph?
The material graph shows transport relations between places. The aisle graph shows the actual aisles and their lengths.
Does the graph analysis look at quantities as well?
No. It examines the structure of the network. Quantities and loads are analysed separately through heat maps and figures.
Can I highlight conspicuous places in the picture?
Yes. For figures such as sources, sinks or dead ends the places concerned can be marked directly in the graph.
