Floor usage
The floor analysis shows total area, sections, footprints, aisles and free areas directly on the hall plan.
How much hall floor is taken, and where is there room?
The floor analysis shows total area, section area, footprint area, aisle area, free area and the largest connected free area.
It is computed directly on the grid of the hall plan and based on the stored scale.
Common questions
Why is the largest free area smaller than the free area?
The free area is the sum of every free part. The largest free area, by contrast, is only the largest connected free piece.
Do aisles count towards the free area?
No. Aisles are reported separately as occupied traffic area and are not counted towards the available free area.
Where do the square metres come from?
From the scale of the floor plan. The areas are computed on the grid, so the figures and the picture rest on the same basis.
